GIRL SCOUTS IS A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION AND FAYETTE JESSAMINE DAY CAMP IS RUN ENTIRELY BY VOLUNTEERS. We depend on other volunteers (leaders and/or moms of Girl Scouts) to lead units at camp and help make it a success and a fun experience for the girls.

Join us for a week of ooey gooey fun. We have some crazy crafts and activities planned in addition to our normal outdoor activities, which include, but are not limited to, basic camp skills, hiking, nature crafts, campfire cooking, flag ceremonies, designing a camp shirt.  BR-ADV girls will participate with their unit at the Climbing Tower* and Archery Range* and learn about basic skills and safety for these activities. Daisys will have alternate activities in place of the high risk activities). Units may work on badge requirements while at camp. We will have a special flag ceremony where girls will learn how to properly retire a tattered or torn flag that should no longer be used. Our overnight camp will beWednesday. Girls will have the opportunity to participate in lots of fun activities while spending time with old friends and getting to know new friends.

Parents of BR through ADV campers must complete and sign the High Risk Activity Permission Form for campers to participate at the Climbing Tower and Archery Range.
